A polished, social hostel in the heart of Porto's historic Ribeira district, steps from the Douro river.
About
The Central House Porto Ribeira sits on Rua De Sao Joao, a short walk from the Douro river and the Ribeira district's historic streets. The building feels more like a design hotel than a hostel, with parquet floors, soundproofed rooms, and a social bar where live acts and karaoke keep evenings lively.
Dorms come in female-only and mixed configurations, while private rooms and a family room offer more space. Breakfast is served in the same cozy bar area, and the staff are known for going out of their way to help. With a 8.9 rating from nearly 3,000 reviews, it's one of Porto's most reliable bases.
